Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessaryaudit financial transactions and documentsreport on the company’s financial health and liquiditymanage balance sheets and profit/loss statementscompute taxes and prepare tax returnsensure timely bank paymentsreconcile accounts payable and receivablehandle monthly, quarterly and annual closingsmanage all accounting transactionsprepare budget forecastspublish financial statements in timecomply with financial policies and regulationsskillswork experience as an accountantexcellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the generally accepted accounting principles (gaap)hands-on experience with accounting software like freshbooks and quickbooksadvanced ms excel skills including vlookups and pivot tablesexperience with general ledger functionsstrong attention to detail and good analytical skillsbsc in accounting, finance or relevant degreeadditional certification (cpa or cma) is a plus
