Job summarythe mep (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) project director oversees and leads the mep services delivery, health and safety and subcontractor performance and wellbeing, whilst liaising with the client, main contractor and consultants. capable of leading the project team on large/complex projects. this role leads all mep projects to set up the majors' targets to handover the projects with the highest quality standards. the main objective is to drive and deliver commercial performance of the business aligned with the organization strategic objectives.job responsibilities 1manages all phases of projects from concept through design, procurement & construction and commercialestablish and implements strategies to ensure effective execution of planning, monitoring & controlling of projects' scope, schedule, qualitydevelops and implements risk assessment/ job hazard analysis in advance of commencement of activities and to ensure all preventive control measures are in place.job responsibilities 2 manage and direct consultants and support services to meet required schedules and objectives. plumbing systems and oversees the preparation of related engineering drawingsplan all mep operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.ensures that the supply chain and internal resource in line with programme requirements.establishes and implements the project health and safety strategies.conduct the site meetings in relation to project phases and progress stages .ensure an appropriate supply chain presence on site to improve production.ensure a proper mobilization of workface, materials for each stage of the projectskillsjob knowledge & skillsa proven track record of successfully delivering projects & concentrating on client satisfactionextensive experience managing the financial aspects of projectsin depth understanding of all mep packagesadvanced understanding of risk management policies and proceduresextensive experiencing managing budgets for large construction projectsstrong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipmenterp knowledge preferably sap functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.job experienceminimum 15 years of experienceatleast 5 years in gcc region is strategy - proficientdrives performance - proficientdevelops future leaders - proficientcost management l4project management l4qa/qc l4design & construction l4hse l4educationbachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
