Responsibilities:receiving and inspection:receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the received products against packing lists or invoices.inspect products for damages or defects and report discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.storage and organization:safely and efficiently store products in designated warehouse locations.maintain an organized and clean warehouse space to facilitate easy access and movement of goods.utilize warehouse management systems (wms) to track inventory levels and locations.order picking and packing:accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders or shipping requests.prepare orders for shipment by ensuring proper packaging and labeling.assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.inventory management:conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventories.update inventory records in the warehouse management system to reflect accurate stock levels.quality control:participate in quality control procedures to ensure that products meet company standards.report any quality issues or concerns to supervisors.safety and compliance:adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.comply with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.skillsqualifications:high school diploma or equivalent.previous experience in a warehouse or similar setting is preferred but not required.ability to operate basic warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training can be provided).strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.excellent organizational and time management skills.good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
