We are seeking a product safety compliance specialist to join the office/print on demand division of fujifilm middle east (dubai office). the candidate in this capacity is responsible to ensure that our products meet all relevant safety regulations and standards set forth by regulatory bodies. your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of regulatory requirements will be crucial in this role. additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement necessary changes to meet safety standards and maintain compliance throughout the product lifecycle. staying informed about any updates or changes to safety regulations is also important to ensure our products remain compliant. your dedication to product safety will help protect consumers and uphold the reputation of our company.general responsibilities :to ensure that our products meets all safety regulations and standards.act as regulatory liaison for internal stakeholders, including management and external partnersoffers guidance and technical knowledge using analytical skills to influence decisions made due to changes in the regulatory environmentidentifies and evaluates alternatives to achieve and maintain compliance while meeting goals and objectives,conducts research and evaluates state and federal regulatory developments to maintain a continuous course of compliance and identify and analyze compliance exposure and trendsprepare, interpret and document relevant national product standards and regulationswork with cross functional teams to review and communicate trade compliance requirements and provide guidance as a subject matter expert when requested.collaborating with regulatory agencies and third-party testing laboratories to ensure product compliance and certificationmaintain and update product registration database and report to japan.cooperation with sales and service; share of information on important customer/process issues.work and support export logistics team for distribution/shipment of various products to the middle east and africa region.staying up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to ensure our products are compliant with all safety requirements.developing and implementing safety training programs for employees to promote a culture of safety within the organization.review product promotional materials, labelling, batch records, specification sheets, or test methods for compliance with applicable regulations and policiesskillsdesirable skills :preferably from the office and print-on-demand printing industry will be an added advantage essential skills :bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree with equivalent business experience in printing industry3 + years in import and export compliance related job responsibilitiesdemonstrated knowledge of safety, rohs, chemical regulation and telecommunication regulation in mea regionstrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others in a positive and effective manner in a global organizationability to critically review product information and assess application of regulatory frameworks to productsability to follow managerial directives and collaborate within a team to meet departmental goalsself-starter with the ability to work independently on multiple tasks to meet or exceed deadlines, prioritize, and maintain flexibility in fast-paced, changing environment.knowledge of procedures and regulations with regard to international trade /export of goods.excellent communication skills in english, both written and spoken.working experience of ms office.at fujifilm, we are continuously innovating - creating new technologies, products, and services that inspire and excite people everywhere. our goal is to empower the potential and expand the horizons of tomorrow’s businesses and lifestyles.if you fit our requirements and are excited about an opportunity to be a part of our energetic and revolutionary team, please apply with us with your updated cv.
