Job purposeto build and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers, ensure compliance with agreed terms, resolve disputes, implement vendor performance management, monitor contract performance, and facilitate smooth transactions for optimal quality supplies and services in the procurement organization.roles and responsibilitiesensure effective and sustainable relationships are built and maintained with key suppliers/ vendors to enable tahakom to obtain optimal quality supplies and services. own and develop supplier segmentation, supplier collaboration and supplier development (strategic, business critical, etc.)govern the relation between the supplier and business owner (and other parties when applicable) to ensure proper compliance with agreed terms and conditions and managing resolution of complex disputes in a mutually satisfactory manner.contact supplier in case of identified risks affecting the relationship or that could hinder on-time delivery and payment; resolve claims with supplier, calculate and apply penalties to suppliers.contract performance & lifecycle management: monitoring kpis & slas related to contracts, reporting and resolving contract-related issues, track contract lifecycle, proactively liaise with rbu / cms on expiring contracts.oversee the implementation of vendor performance management to enable continuous evaluation of vendors and improve delivery quality, times and innovativeness. lead process & liaising with rbu to conduct evaluations, resolve performance issues.monitor transactions between suppliers and requesting functions to make sure goods are received as per the po, validate documents and invoices for verification and payment processing.follow up with suppliers for any issues raised by the business owners related to the purchased goods and services. (e.g., delivery date, quality requirements, damaged goods)check status of contract against receivables and own liabilitiesmonitor termination of contract and potential follow-up activities (e.g., triggering supplier phase-out)monitor effective contracts on risk issues and actual contract breaches.trigger and execute claim management process.escalate or resolve emerging risk issues/breaches immediately.arrange settlement with contract partner or take legal actions.initiate and coordinate contracts continuations (e.g., addendum) with contract execution support and the relevant parties.participate in the design and implementation of supplier relations department’s strategy and roadmap to support alignment with supply chain business unit strategy.establish supplier relations department’s plans and provide input to technology operations center directorate’s goals that support supply chain and business unit’s overall strategic plans.collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify supplier relations department’s required projects to meet future business demands.lead and drive the achievement of supplier relations department's strategy, objectives and kpis within the accountabilities of the department.develop regular reports on department’s progress and outputs to be shared with relevant stakeholders in line with reporting requirements.participate in supplier relations department’s budgeting cycle and provide input to the budgeting process.ensure effective utilization of supplier relations department’s budget and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.investigate and propose implementing initiatives that result in positive financial impact for supplier relations department and mitigate financial and operational risks.recommend improvements to supplier relations department’s policies and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of activity, ensuring relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results.motivate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices, taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.identify, assess and recruit key talent for supplier relations department.guide, mentor and develop the supplier relations department’s team as part of their continuous development.promote a high-performance working environment within the supplier relations department.skillsjob qualifications and requirementsknowledge & experience: 6 years and above of relevant experience with at least 2 years of experience in supervisory position.education & certifications bachelor’s degree.
