Overview of the role:to collect, research, investigate and evaluate user requirements. responsibility for delivering an outstanding user experience providing an exceptional and intuitive application design. facilitate the design of industry leading omnichannel retail services with various product teams & brands. you will marry business needs, user needs & technology to help deliver services that drives measurable value for our customers & the business what you will do:-description of accountability: plan and implement new designs optimize existing user interface designscommunicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectivesdevelop technical and business requirementscombine creativity with an awareness of the design elementsresponsible for including appropriate user research activities at each stage of designresponsible for providing & communicating actionable findings clearly from user research activitiesresponsible for continuously including customers in the design processresponsible for effective facilitation of omni channel experience designresponsible for delivering the appropriate experience design artefacts within schedule skillsrequired skills to be successful:-able to communicate clearly at c-level & on the groundstrong presentation skillsstrong analytical and numerical skillsstrong ui/ux workshop facilitation skillsleadership ability, with a proven track record of managing and developing people through an organisationmust be fluent in sketch/figma/xd or similar design software, must be familiar with responsive design best practices, graphic and visual design, interaction design and animationability to plan, create artifact’s for & facilitate user researchstrong persuasive skillsability to synthesise requirements into a design artefacts and articulate design choicesstakeholder management skills are muststatistical analysis skills are a welcome bonusa high level of customer focus and the ability to synthesis customers’ needs into actionable findings what equips you for the role:bachelor degreeminimum 6+ years’ experience in a mid/lead ui/ux roleat least 2 years exposure to omnichannel retail with a focus on e-commercegood working knowledge of ms officefirst and foremost, a great cultural fit with al-futtaimbe an experienced team leader, capable of leading and motivating teams to achieve both business and personal objectiveable to work at pace with an impatience to get things donedemonstration of expert control of commercial metrics and an understanding of the commercial implications of decisions and actions and competitorsexceptional people and motivational skillsresilient and driven, with the desire to succeedpassionate about their work with a can-do attitudea team player capable of working cross-functionally in a collaborative mannerstrong negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills, internally and externallyresults-orientated, with the ability to drive and deliver the implementation of new ideas
