Head of treasury job - saudi arabia, eastern province

This position shall be responsible for managing the working capital, liquidity management, short-term investment portfolio, and banking relationships. additionally, it shall also be responsible for coordinating with opcos regarding treasury activities as per the approved investment policy. this position is responsible for financial risk management and insurance coverage activities. qualifications • bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or any other similar field. • above 12 years of experience in a related field including 6 years in a leadership role. • master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or any other similar field. • cpa or other relevant certificationsskills• cash management: keep an eagle eye on the company's cash position. ensure there's enough in the coffers to cover day-to-day operations while optimizing idle cash.• risk management: identify and manage financial risks, whether it's foreign exchange fluctuations, interest rate risks, or other potential hazards. it's all about keeping the ship steady in turbulent waters.• investment strategies: develop and implement strategies for investing excess cash to maximize returns without exposing the company to unnecessary risks.• bank relations: maintain healthy relationships with banks and financial institutions. negotiate terms, arrange financing, and keep the channels of communication open.• financial compliance: stay on top of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to treasury activities. avoiding legal headaches is part of the game.• forecasting: channel your inner fortune teller to predict future cash needs. this involves creating cash flow forecasts and ensuring the company is always well-prepared.• technology savvy: embrace and utilize treasury management systems and other technological tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.• reporting: keep stakeholders in the loop. prepare and present reports on the company's financial position, cash flow, and any relevant financial risks.
