Descriptionthe safety supervisor is responsible for monitoring the overall operations of production, ensuring the safety and security of everyone, and enforcing strict regulations and protocols with the goal to maintain a safe work environment.develop and implement safety policies and procedures;conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards;train employees on safety protocols and best practices;investigate accidents and incidents, providing recommendations for improvement;collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations;keep up-to-date with industry safety trends and regulations.skillsskills & competencies:knowledge of safety regulations and standards;strong communication and leadership skills;excellent interpersonal skills to train and motivate others;eye for detail;operations monitoring and analysis. education & qualifications:bachelor's degree in safety management or related field;proven experience as a safety officer, with specific experience in a cement plant environment;certification in safety management (e.g. nebosh) is a plus.
