Assistant procurement manager position title: assistant procurement manager employment type: full time salary: up to 12k aed all-inclusive depending on experience and qualificationsjob location: ras al khaimah, uae about the client: one of the leading suppliers of coil coatings and a major provider of industrial paints worldwide. job description:responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of raw materials, chemicals, and other supplies essential for paint production. develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring the cost-effective and timely delivery of materialsperform periodic negotiations and price renewal for raw materials to secure favourable terms, achieve cost savings, and improve overall profitability.draft, review, and manage procurement contracts and agreements, including terms and conditions for the supply of raw materials. skillsqualifications:open to asian nationalities43 years old and belowbachelor's degree, preferably in business, supply chain management, chemistry, or a related field.master's degree is an advantageknowledge of paint industry-specific raw materials, chemicals, and suppliers would be advantageous.experience in direct, indirect materials and capex procurement is essential.fluent english communication skills both written and oral.experience with procurement/purchasing erp systems (preferably microsoft dynamics ax) or other software is an advantage.familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and chemical handling protocols.
