Role purpose:maintains highest levels of service & standards against the sqcdme kpi’s, ensuringprinciples are applied to control processes and management systems.· drives “damaway” implementation and coaches his peers towards operationalexcellence through best practices and manufacturing standardsimprove both functional competencies & code behaviors to create high-performingteams.key accountabilities:· provide automation & process control configuration, and on-call support for operationsat 24/7 production plant.· perform fault finding, upgrades and process optimization on all plc systems, scada& hmis, and redundant i/o servers, sql servers and historian servers.· optimize automation systems and operator aids in order to reduce workload andincrease efficiency. attend to automation related breakdown maintenanceactivities/tasks.· ensure that all breakdowns and preventative maintenance and/or scheduledmaintenance activities are carried out to high standards of workmanship.· support process control-related activities of site capital projects to ensure all projectsand interventions in the automation system and infrastructure are executed as per dewautomation standards.· monitor and ensure that all required documentation is completed as per standard.· adhere to quality, safety, health, housekeeping, and environmental standards/criteria,policies, and procedures.· review/maintain/update related documentation, files, procedures, databases,drawings, and schematics to ensure the integrity of the unit instrument and processcontrol technologies.· support and maintain site data historianskillsjob requirements:· bachelors of engineering in electronics/mechatronics (sce membership)· 5 years of work experience in instrumentation within a fmcg, preferably dairyindustry· siemens plc programming experience, and understanding of scl language, wincchmi designing and instrumentation, servers (wincc), vfds (siemens, danfoss) andservo drives (sinamics, sew), aspentech data historianknowledge of instrumentation & process control, including circuits, control systems ofdairy operations, reliability and performance characteristics of process measurement,instrumentation, analyzers, control valves, and vfds. seniority levelassociateo food and beverage services o dairy product manufacturing o food and beverage manufacturing  employment typefull-time
