Purpose and scope of position:to liaise with potential and existing clients. responsible for the entire sales team, ensuring that occupancy and profitability of all venues are maximized while at the same time exceeding customers’ expectations.promote golf related events such as golf team building and corporate golf days. 1. main duties: (job related duties)   identifying commercial sponsorship opportunities across dubai golf & viya golf and associating fitting brands to complement the clubs.to conduct site inspection for dubai golf & viya golf.manage existing corporate partnerships and sponsorships.sourcing new corporate and private memberships across dubai golf & viya golf.securing group golf bookings, societies and corporate golf days.increasing f & b revenue through event across all venues.to ensure that the agreed budgeted targets are achieved or bettered.to ensure a prompt, courteous response and follow up to all inquiries.to ensure that the accounting department receive accurate information to be able to correctly invoice customers.to ensure cooperation between both clubs to enhance quality and service standards as well as saving and sharing cost by centrally coordinating all event related resources.to develop new business in events for both clubs by practicing active sales and customer relationship management.to respond to customer queries or complaints promptly and efficiently, ensuring that mutually agreeable solutions are reached at the earliest convenient time.to carry out any other duties as when required by the ceo, dss and club managers, which falls under the scope and purpose of this position.to participate actively in weekly sales management meeting. 2. ancillary duties: in line with the club’s strive for continuous improvement, you may be requested to participate in various extra activities contributing towards individuals and organizational growth.represent the department or a group in various committees, such as the staff committee, green theme (environmental), food committee, sport committee or projects. be trained as a fire marshall or first aider. 3. quality responsibilities: aware of dubai golf mission, vision and values. will be responsible to apply the 4 service steps throughout serving internal and external customers.      4. it security awareness: 1.  read, understand and comply with all applicable information security policies and procedures of wasl.2. co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with internal/external audit teams as appropriate and applicable.3.  attend information security awareness sessions conducted by the wasl it department.4. all information security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the it service desk.     5.  levels of authority             prepared by:  head - human by: chief executive officerskillsminimum qualifications required·      relevant technical qualifications and at minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role·      proven track record in a sales manager position·      computer literacy – highly proficient in microsoft using word, excel & powerpoint·      excellent communication & negotiation skillssupportive skills·      strong leadership and interpersonal skills·      team-player·      has an understanding and/or experience of how to manage a multi-cultural workforce·      knowledge and experience of promoting events and sourcing sponsorship·      desirable age between 30 - 45·      outgoing / sociable·      innovative problem solver·      honesty / integrity
