Job purpose:a sales associate delivers an engaging and knowledgeable service that attracts our potential customers to generate quality new sales and ultimately drive the commercial performance of the company.  key accountabilities:  reach individual and overall sales targets demonstrate profound product knowledge, promotions and advertisementsensure that boutique cleanliness and hygiene standards are always maintained, and all products are handled accordinglymaintain merchandise and ensure proper display, storage, etc.assure smooth boutique opening, closing procedureensure daily check lists are filled in when opening / closing use the prescribed selling techniques to provide customers with a friendly, courteous experienceoperate the cash register to accurately compute the price of the product and receive paymentarrange and prepare all gift orders according to the sales order in coordination with team and in charge of the boutique.. accurately record the product usage in the system. control shrinkage, product damages & report boutique manager, if any . participate in monthly inventory process. report to the boutique manager on customer feedback and complaints. monitor stock levels and share findings with your manager   lives and advocates the bateel values:     people excellence (internal/external customer engagement and relationship management) ·        to create an environment which is a great place to work for you and your colleagues through your dedication, enthusiasm, sharing of knowledge, honesty and desire to support others.·        to display excellent standards in all you do and inspire others to do the same, and that you operate within legislative/regulatory and company policies and procedures. ·        to display confidence, self-belief and openness to new ideas, adapting and embracing challenges and opportunities with a determination to excel. ·        continuously develop own skills by attending all required training courses and maintaining an up to date knowledge of products, services, systems and work processes. skills requirement:   ·        presentable ·        fluent in english (arabic is an advantage)·        ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing ·        ability to build relationships with customers and peers·        minimum 1 year of retail or fmcg experience is required qualification requirements: ·        high school graduate or above behaviors: ·        sales skills – analytical skills to customize sales approach to customer type·        customer handling skills – to be able to handle customer requests while utilizing the psychological selling measures learned in the trainings·        product knowledge – specifications and pricing ·        self-disciplined intelligent responsible and presentable·        positive and enthusiastic·        willingness to work in rotational shifts and put in overtime hours during high season
