As a maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our properties, repair activities of various equipment and facilities managed by the facilities maintenance department of agility logistics parks. this role is responsible for ensuring work sites are maintained in compliant and safe conditions, and for overseeing the conduct and activity of employees and contractors on site.your responsibilitiesmanage preventive and corrective services for chillers/refrigeration/freezers/hvac; electrical work including panels and lighting; firefighting networks; civil works; plumbing, water, and waste wateroversee general upkeep and maintenance of buildings to ensure that they meet health and safety standards and legal requirementsperform analysis and forecasts for budgetingreview utilities consumption and strive to minimize costscreate kpis to gauge operations in terms of response time, efficiency, quality, cost control, and customer satisfactioncreate and manage a system for material procurement, storage, and dispatch based on bar code scanning and softwaresupervise all facilities staff and external contractorsrespond to emergency maintenance calls and provide assistance during off-hours as neededability to identify issues, obstacles, and opportunities, and then develop and implement effective solutionsprovide technical guidance to site personnel and techniciansensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations; oversee and ensure housekeeping, maintenance, safety and security are carried out as per standard regulations and policies & procedures ; actively encourage safe working practices on site at all timesprovide technical support for maintenance works and ongoing projects, and carry out the necessary supervision of executioncommitted to complying with various codes and regulatory standards for quality and safetyskillsyour qualificationsbachelor’s degree in mechanical/ electrical engineering or facilities managementlicensed mechanical or electrical engineer, preferredrelevant professional certification, an advantageknowledgeable in facilities maintenance softwareproficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsminimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in facility maintenance with a proven experience as facilities engineer or similar position. your proficiencieswell-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practicesgood analytical/critical thinkingexcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsfluency in both english and arabic (verbal and written)excellent customer and client management skillsexcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
