Maramer contracting company is currently seeking a qualified safety manager with experience in road beautification projects for our ongoing green riyadh project. this is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of this prestigious project.responsibilities:develop, implement, and oversee safety policies, procedures, and programs for the green riyadh road beautification project.conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and compliance issues.provide safety training and orientation to project personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, standards, and best practices.investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and ensure safe work practices.review and approve safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements for project activities.stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging safety issues relevant to road beautification projects.skillsbachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.proven experience as a safety manager or similar role on road beautification projects.in-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to construction and roadworks.strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate project teams.experience in conducting safety training, inspections, and incident investigations.familiarity with safety management systems and tools for hazard identification and risk assessment.certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., nebosh, osha) preferred.proficiency in microsoft office suite and safety management software.
