Maramer contracting company is currently seeking a qualified safety engineer with experience in road beautification projects to join our team for our ongoing green riyadh project. this is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated safety professional to contribute to the success of a high-profile project aimed at enhancing the beauty and sustainability of riyadh's roads.responsibilities:develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with local regulations and project requirements.conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.provide safety training and orientation to project staff and subcontractors to promote awareness and compliance with safety regulations.investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence.collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate safety requirements into project planning and execution.review project plans, designs, and specifications to identify safety considerations and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and records related to safety activities, incidents, inspections, and training.stay informed of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes affecting safety management in road beautification projects.skillsbachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.proven experience as a safety engineer in road beautification projects or similar civil construction projects.in-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to road construction and landscaping.certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., nebosh, osha) is preferred.strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work well under pressure.proficiency in ms office suite and safety management software.fluency in arabic and english is preferred.
