Responsibilities:system monitoring: continuously monitor computer systems and network devices to ensure they are running smoothly.data entry: accurately enter data into computer systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.backup and recovery: perform routine data backups and assist in data recovery procedures in case of system failures.hardware maintenance: assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware components, including printers, servers, and peripherals.software operations: execute scheduled jobs and batch processes, including system updates and software installations.user support: provide basic technical support to end-users by resolving issues related to software, hardware, and system access.documentation: maintain records of computer operations, including job logs, error reports, and maintenance records.security compliance: follow established security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure the security of computer systems.reporting: generate reports on system performance and issues, and communicate findings to the it team or management.emergency response: respond promptly to system alerts and escalate issues to appropriate teams or vendors when necessary.skillsqualifications:high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.proven experience as a computer operator or in a similar role.strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.familiarity with data entry and basic troubleshooting.excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.strong communication and problem-solving skills.ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if required.
