Working in a team environment in delivering sustainable and low-energy designprojects in the built environment. the role requires an understanding of engineeringdesign, construction, commissioning and operation of buildings.• perform energy system analysis of projects design to verify compliance with the sustainability criteria• carry out energy modelling, daylight simulations, etc. in line with the local authority green codes and international green building certifications such as leed.• conduct project sustainability assessments such as leed, estidama, well, trakhees, sa’afat and any other relevant green building systems, together with the team assigned for the project.• interact with clients, contractors, local authority representatives and otherstakeholders during project execution, as may be assigned by the sustainability manager.• assist the sustainability manager in preparing project green strategies, presentations.• attend project site meetings and conduct site visits during construction to inspect and monitor implementation of green building requirement.• perform green material submittal reviews.• prepare site inspection reports, progress reports.• conduct client meetings during project execution.• perform independent commissioning authority related activities on site• conduct thermography surveys, air tightness testing, building envelop commissioning inspections.• research and develop innovative ideas for adding value to ems services and solutions• job may involve travel outside the uae for green building project execution.• support the ems team during proposal preparation.skillsbechelor's degree in engineering or enviroment science.having one or more of the following cerificates:leed ap, well, breeam, estidama. proficiency in energy modelling software.
