Bim modeler - mechanical - saudi arabia, jeddah
The mechanical bim modeler will be responsible for creating and maintaining building information models (bim) for mechanical systems in construction projects. this role will involve collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop accurate and detailed 3d models that accurately represent the mechanical components of the building.responsibilities:develop accurate bim models of mechanical systems including hvac, plumbing, and fire protection systems.coordinate with project team members to ensure the mechanical bim models align with the overall project design and specifications.review and analyze design documentation to identify potential clashes or conflicts within the model.collaborate with engineers and designers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the bim model.provide support and assistance to the construction team during the fabrication and installation of mechanical systems.skillsrequirements: technical skills: proficiency in bim software like revit, autocad mep, and navisworksunderstanding of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.experience: 5 years of experience in mep drafting or modeling using bim softwaresoft skills: excellent communication collaboration, and problem-solving skills. the ability to work independently and as part of a team. strong attention to detail and time management skills.
