Sr. planning engineer - saudi arabia, jeddah
As a senior planning engineer, you will play a key role in the successful completion of projects by creating and overseeing detailed project schedules, providing analysis and recommendations to optimize project timelines and resource utilization, and supporting project managers in the execution of project plans. you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that project deadlines are met and that project objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.responsibilities:develop and maintain the overall project schedule by project requirements and constraintscoordinate with project stakeholders to gather input and provide updates on project progressconduct schedule risk analysis and propose mitigation plans for potential schedule delaysgenerate reports and presentations to communicate project status and key performance indicatorsmonitor project activity and progress against the established schedule, identify variances, and recommend corrective actionscollaborate with project team members to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure project deadlines are metskillsrequirements: • minimum 8 – 12 years relevant experience on large projects, preferably with mep and industrial experience.• strong personality with high communication and persuasion skills.• eot claim management/delay analysis/tia and window analysis.• fluent in construction sequence with a focus on handoffs , mep , testing/commissioning /authorities.• evm , kpis and effective knowledge of different control systems.• resources & production planning and control• highly skilled in use of planning software (p6) / excel- digital reporting skills - power bi - 4d planning- management reporting• areas of concern , critical issues and risk assessments.
