We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven business development manager with a strong background in the fast-moving consumer goods (fmcg) industry to join our growing team. the ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with crucial partners, and driving the overall growth and success of the organization through expansion plans . the business development manager will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing strategic plans to expand our market presence, increase revenue streams, and enhance our competitive position, particularly in the areas of import-export of food products, e-commerce, and the restaurant business.skillsmarket analysis and strategy:conduct thorough market research specific to fmcg to identify potential business opportunities and trends.develop and implement effective business strategies tailored to the fmcg sector to achieve organizational goals.client acquisition and relationship management:identify and engage with potential clients, partners, and key decision-makers within the fmcg industry.build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the import-export of food products, e-commerce, and restaurant sectors.sales and revenue growth:drive the sales process from lead generation to closure, meeting and exceeding sales targets in fmcg-related business areas.develop and implement sales strategies specific to the fmcg industry to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.networking and industry engagement:represent the company at fmcg industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.build and maintain a network of contacts within the fmcg industry to stay informed about market trends and opportunities.team collaboration:collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business plans in fmcg-related segments.provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales and business development teams with a focus on fmcg.qualifications:bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. master's degree is a plus.proven track record in business development, sales, or a related field, specifically within the fmcg industry.strong understanding of market dynamics, business strategy, and customer needs in the fmcg sector.excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.ability to think strategically and solve complex business challenges.proactive and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.strong leadership and team management skills.experience:minimum of 3-5years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the fmcg industry
