Polymedia is currently seeking a talented and experienced cad design engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design and engineering of complex audio visual technologies-based systems integration projects. the cad design engineer will be responsible for creating detailed system design documents and architectural shop drawings using autocad, with a preferable focus on producing building information modeling (bim) drawings for our projects.job duties:articulately conveys (verbally, visually, graphically) digital design concepts to design and delivery professionals with varying levels of understanding.conduct site surveys and assessments to gather information and data necessary for design development.utilize autocad software to create detailed design drawings and layouts for audio visual systems integration projects, including av equipment placement, wiring diagrams, rack elevations, and cable schedules.preferably develop and produce bim drawings, models, and documentation in compliance with industry standards and project specifications.coordinate with the technical team to ensure that design drawings accurately reflect project requirements and adhere to best practices for system installation and integration.review and analyze architectural and engineering drawings to identify coordination issues and ensure integration compatibility.assist in the preparation of technical proposals, bid documents, and project documentation as needed.qualifications:bachelor’s degree in engineering with 03-05 years of cad drafting or bim modeling in medium to large-scale audio-visual systems integration projects.proven practical background of design visualization applications like autodesk autocad, revit, autodesk 360 (cloud rendering), 3d studio max, and navisworks is mandatory.candidates with avixa and vendor specific certifications are preferred.candidates with uae driving license are preferred.location: dubai media city, dubai, uae with 0-70% self-facilitated travel.skillsskills:requirements analysis, design skills (cad/bim), estimation methods and procedures, planning, analyzing information, reporting research results, attention to detail, professionalism, customer focusjob type: full-timesalary: aed5,000.00 - aed7,000.00 per montheducation:bachelor's (required)experience:audio visual systems integration project: 3 years (preferred)license/certification:uae lmv driving license (required)
