Responsibilities:inventory management: maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all items in the store, including incoming and outgoing products.stock control: monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages or excess inventory.receiving and inspection: receive deliveries, inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy, and ensure they match purchase orders.storage and organization: properly store and label products in designated locations to ensure easy access and efficient retrieval.quality assurance: ensure that all products are stored and handled in compliance with safety and quality standards.documentation: keep detailed records of all transactions, including receipts, invoices, and inventory counts.reporting: prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock turnover rates, and any discrepancies or issues.customer service: assist customers with inquiries, provide product information, and assist with their purchases.maintenance: keep the store clean and organized, including performing routine maintenance tasks as needed.safety: adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment for all team members.skillsqualifications:high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in inventory management is a plus.proven experience as a store keeper or similar role.strong organizational and time management skills.attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.excellent communication and customer service skills.proficient in using inventory management software and computer applications.physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and moving of inventory items.
