Develop and approve plans in collaboration with group operations leadership to revamp old and construct new stores according to the group's brand imagecreate and implement latest store design specifications into the planning process as per business requirements and retail trendscreate and review security and maintenance strategies in collaboration with operations develop and control projects' budget to ensure that it is in line with the group's strategy and the project management strategic directionmanage the budget and delivery of projects in collaboration with the projects team within financial and time deadlinesreview yearly budget for store design and construction including but not limited to purchase order, expense report approvals and expense monitoring during construction processesreview the capex control for all storessupport the development and implementation of project management policies, procedures and processes, and monitor compliance of subordinatesdefine and plan projects including scope of work, project team and timeline in coordination with respective functionsdefine procedures for quality reviews, improving, innovating, and developing project management processes as and when requiredmanage the project schedule effectively to deliver stores within the timelines as per the business planpartner with various internal and external stakeholders for the development of project plans; and work closely with them to determine requirements, project objectives and other requirementsidentify innovative and cost-effective solutions for store development that meet the needs of the businessidentify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities for specific projectsmaximize the commercial and aesthetic potential of each store in line with the business requirements and retail trendspartner with relevant stakeholders to ensure that proper brand positioning and consumer insights are incorporated into store designrevise project work plans whenever necessary to meet the changing needs and requirementsmotivate staff and empower direct reports by providing the necessary tools and support required to support department goalsbuild opportunities for staff to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiativesdrive programs to enable the group to attract and develop local talent over time to take on meaningful roles within the organizationestablish clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow of the departmentmentor employees and ensure proper target setting and staff performance management in line with the group’s performance management guidelinesprovide industry insights and competitive benchmarking to monitor retail design trends and their potential application for the group in the regiontest new products and solutions and present recommendations to the management minimum job qualifications requirement (academic, training, languages, etc.)bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related fieldexpertise in electrical, plumbing, hvac, and it systemspmbok certification in project management is mandatory management or leadership qualification preferred skills at least 15 ­- 20 years of hands-­on experience in project management7­ - 10 years of experience in managing and leading teams gcc experience preferred proficient in microsoft office suitefamiliarity with building automation systems (bas)experience with maintenance management software ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsstrong leadership and communication skillsability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyexcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsability to work effectively under pressure
