Setting and reporting:this position is flexible with options to work remotely or from our office in shenzhen or dubai. interns will report directly to the assistant secretary-general, engaging in activities that facilitate and enhance the operations of uecn's dubai and shenzhen offices.responsibilities:-as an intern at uecn, you'll play a crucial role in the execution and facilitation of our events and activities. your tasks will include:-working closely with uecn events, ensuring their successful organization and execution.-communicating effectively with members, engaging both internal and external stakeholders to promote uecn's mission and activities.-facilitating meetings, ensuring efficient and productive discussions among participants.-supporting the activities of the uecn dubai and shenzhen offices, contributing to the seamless operation of both locations.-undertaking or assisting in programmatic/administrative tasks necessary for the optimal functioning of uecn, including preparation of budgets and program performance reports.-drawing inspiration from our assistant secretary-general’s responsibilities, interns will experience firsthand the intricacies of managing international relations and events, honing their skills in a vibrant and challenging environment.competencies:at uecn, teamwork is paramount. we believe that motivating individuals to cooperate and collaborate leads to innovation and excellence. as part of our team, you will learn to navigate the complexities of international cooperation, enhancing your ability to work effectively in any setting.skills-proficiency in english and chinese is required, with english at least at the conversational level.-currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor's or master's degree. all fields of study are welcome.-no specific prior work experience is required, although a keen interest in international relations, event management, or organizational operations is beneficial.
