Overview of the role:as a spare parts sales representative, you'll be at the forefront of our customer service efforts. your primary responsibility will be assisting walk-in customers in selecting the right parts and accessories for their needs. you'll also play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing expert advice on product selection and promoting the full range of brands we represent. what you will do:assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggesting add-ons, and promoting specials to enhance customer experience.utilize parts catalogues (epc) to accurately identify part numbers and advise customers on replacements and the benefits of genuine parts.ensure smooth processing of quotations, sales orders, returns, warranties, and application of discounts in accordance with established procedures.proactively follow up on back-orders to provide customers with timely updates and ensure on-time delivery.develop, communicate, and enforce effective parts department processes to enhance customer satisfaction.collaborate with the famco field parts sales teams and service workshops to support their quotations and orders. skillsrequired skills to be successful:proficiency in microsoft office products and dealership management systems.excellent communication skills, both with customers and company personnel.strong relationship-building abilities to foster positive customer interactions. about the team:our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our customers. we work collaboratively to ensure that every customer interaction is positive and memorable. what equips you for the role:minimum of 3 years' experience in automotive or equipment spare parts, with a focus on heavy commercial vehicles, industrial products, and construction equipment.bachelor's degree or diploma in any discipline or equivalent.
