Site engineer/inspector - qa/qc (ground improvement and piling) - united arab emirates, dubai

Job purpose:  the site qa/qc engineer will support the project team with regard to various requirements pertaining to ground improvement and piling. the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating with clients and other stakeholders on various technicalities of the project.skillskey responsibilities:  quality assurance : follow quality control plans and procedures for construction projects; monitor construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, regulations and quality standardsinspections : conduct regular inspections of construction sites, materials, and completed work to identify any deviations or defects; report to the project manager and report observations on non-conformancesdocumentation : maintain detailed records of inspections, tests and compliance reportsproblem resolution : identify issues, collaborate with construction teams to address deficiencies, and suggest corrective actionstesting and analysis: perform or oversee tests on material and structures to verify quality and integritycommunication: liaise with contractors, engineers, architects, and regulatory agencies to communicate findings and ensure compliancetraining: provide guidance and training to construction teams regarding quality standards and best practicesqualification(s) skills & experience (e – essential / p – preferred):degree / diploma in civil engineeringminimum 5 years of relevant experience in ground improvement and piling projectsunderstanding of construction methods, materials codes. familiarity with quality control processes, inspections techniques would be an added advantagekeen observation skills and attention to details to identity defects or deviations from standardsstrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders and document findings accurately
