The account receivable specialist in the hospitality sector is responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable functions for a hotel or hospitality establishment. this includes managing billing and collections processes, reconciling accounts, handling discrepancies, and ensuring timely payments from clients and customers.key responsibilities:prepare and send out invoices to customers on a timely basismonitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accountsprocess payments and ensure accurate allocation of fundsreconcile accounts and resolve any discrepanciescommunicate with customers to address billing inquiries and resolve issuesmaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactionsassist with month-end closing processes and financial reportingwork closely with other departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing and collection processesprovide support and assistance to the accounting team as neededskillsqualifications:bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related role, preferably in the hospitality industryproficiency in accounting software and microsoft office suitestrong attention to detail and organizational skillsexcellent communication and interpersonal skillsability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyknowledge of hospitality industry billing practices and regulations is a plus
