Role descriptionthis is a full-time on-site role for a storekeeper at shade corporation ltd. in dammam. as a storekeeper, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as packing, inventory control, inventory management, unloading, and forklift operation with experience in the construction industry to join our team. the ideal candidate should have a transferable iqama and be currently residing in saudi arabia. immediate availability to start work is required.qualificationsreceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies.maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using computerized systems.organize and maintain the warehouse and storage areas for efficient material handling.prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries and stock replenishment.conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in handling and storing materials.assist in the preparation of reports related to inventory management and control.collaborate with other departments to fulfill material requirements and support project activities.maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse and storage areas.skillsrequirements:proven experience as a storekeeper in the construction industry in saudi arabia.familiarity with inventory management software and systems.strong organizational and multitasking skills.attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.good communication and interpersonal abilities.ability to work independently and as part of a team.knowledge of safety and quality standards for materials handling.a valid saudi arabian driving license is a plus.transferable iqama and immediate availability to start work.
