· directs and coordinates activities of the distribution warehouse.· reviews bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to plan work activities.· assigns workers to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming merchandise and assembling customer orders for delivery.· establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments.· handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory.· coordinates activities of distribution warehouse with activities of sales, record control, and purchasing departments to insure availability of merchandise.· recommends redamation of damaged merchandise.· determines space requirements and position of shipment in boxcars and trucks and lays out position of shipment.· inspects loading operations to insure compliance with shipping specifications, and seals loaded boxcars and truck doors.· directs movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.· compiles records of unfilled orders.· supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with receiving, storing inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials.· plans layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.· advises employees on care and preservation of items received.· monitors stocks in other locations and redirects stock from one location to the other.· apply procedure of returned goods from customers, demos, consignment and inspecting its condition for acceptance or rejection in coordination with bmts for equipment in specific.· monitors expiry date of goods upon arrival , in stock and when shipping out.skillsخبرة في إدارة المستودعات يفضل شهادة ادارة مستودعات
