Job responsibilitiesresearch / competitive intelligenceidentify and monitor key trends across company’s landscape and ecosystemcollect, analyze, and interpret data to form externally informed, actionable insights and enterprise wide outlooks that are then used to formulate corporate strategystrategic planningperform both internal and external strategic analyses to become better informed about current business conditionsfunnel insights (industry, business, competitive analysis) to facilitate strategic plan developmentdevelop scenarios centered around variations in business outlook and assess strategic responses including capital allocationbusiness partneringperform the role of an in-house business consultant; partner with teams across the local bus to facilitate deep-dive analyses into selected topicsassess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats; research and analyze relevant industries, markets, trends to identify strategies and transformation needsperformance management and executive communicationassist in executing the strategic plan by supporting transformation initiatives and by facilitating tracking and reporting of key performance metricsidentify performance gaps and facilitate coordinated actions to address issuesdevelop content that will be included in executive and board level presentationssupport with improving the overall performance of the business units in scopeskillsjob requirements:bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or engineering preferred7-10 years’ total experience in consulting, business development, strategy, or strategic planning; familiarity with agriculture and food industry is a plusshould be proficient in excel financial modeling and in creating powerpoint presentationsmarket research and competitive analysis skillsexperience in execution of initiatives and plansdemonstrated capacity to perform in a fast-paced work environment
