Our client based in saudi arabia is looking for project managers.position description we are seeking an experienced project management specialist to join joint venture & infrastructure project management. saudi pm teams are responsible and accountable for the delivery of best in class capital projects. jv & infra pm is directly involved in executing and managing assigned projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards of integrity and compliance. this will involve engineering design, procurement and construction of various sizes ($), types and complexity of small, medium to multi-billion dollar mega projects.  project management team manages and executes projects usually from multiple site offices or engineering contractor design offices, geographically scattered throughout the kingdom of saudi arabia. the pm specialist is a company-wide recognized subject matter expert (sme) in the field of project management. he provides expert advice and guidance in one or more specialized areas of project management, including but not limited to project planning, project execution, and project controls. as an sme, he utilizes his extensive experience and knowledge to optimize project planning, improve design and construction quality, and to improve project costs and schedules. the pm specialist is an expert in one or more disciplines that directly affect project performance, including but not limited to planning and scheduling, project execution, estimation, cost engineering, geomatics, value engineering, and other value improvement practices. duties and responsibilities you will be required to perform the following tasks: provide expert advice and guidance in project planning, project execution, and/or project in resolving project management problems related to his area of expertise, including project planning deficiencies, project quality defects (in engineering, procurement, or construction), schedule               slippages, and potential cost over work closely with project engineers and other project professionals to provide work direction and and implement strategies to improve project planning, cost, schedule, and/or existing tools and methodologies in his area of expertise and makes recommendations on their implementation at saudi aramco.             lead internal or external problem-solving teams as directed training courses in his area of expertise.                         train and mentor developing engineers and other project in development of standards, guidelines, instructions, policies and procedures on an as required basis.                               participate in the review and evaluation of the capabilities of e&c contractors, suppliers, and project managementworking environment our high-performing employees are drawn by the challenging and rewarding professional, technical and industrial opportunities we offer, and are remunerated accordingly. , our people work on truly world-scale projects, supported by investment in capital and technology that is second to none. and because, as a global energy company, we are faced with addressing some of the world’s biggest technical, logistical and environmental challenges, we invest heavily in talent development. we have a proud history of educating and training our workforce over many decades. employees at all levels are encouraged to improve their sector-specific knowledge and competencies through our workforce development programs – one of the largest in the world.skillsminimum requirements as the successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business from a recognized and approved program. an advanced degree is preferred. you will also obtain a professional certification by aace, pmi, or the professional engineering boards. you will have fifteen years’ experience in project management field.
