Responsibilities:packing and inspection: properly pack items into boxes or containers, ensuring that products are secure and protected during transit. inspect items for defects or damage before packing.labeling: affix appropriate shipping labels, barcodes, and documentation to packages, ensuring accuracy in labeling and tracking.materials handling: handle packaging materials such as boxes, bubble wrap, tape, and packing materials efficiently and safely.quality control: maintain high standards of quality control to ensure that all products are packed according to company guidelines and quality standards.inventory management: assist in maintaining inventory levels of packaging materials, and report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.organization: keep the packing area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.collaboration: work closely with the shipping department to coordinate the timely dispatch of packed orders.safety: follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.skillsqualifications:high school diploma or equivalent.previous experience in packing or a related role is a plus but not required.strong attention to detail and accuracy.ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.excellent teamwork and communication skills.physical fitness and the ability to lift and move moderately heavy packages.familiarity with basic computer operations is a plus.willingness to adhere to safety and quality standards.
