Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various hvac systems, including but not limited to split systems, rooftop units, and package units.diagnose and troubleshoot issues with hvac equipment to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of hvac systems and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.install new hvac units and components according to specifications and industry standards.collaborate with other team members and contractors to coordinate hvac installations and repairs as needed.adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing hvac-related tasks.keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including service reports and equipment logs.stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in hvac technology.skillsproven experience as an hvac technician, with a focus on package units.familiarity with a wide range of hvac systems, including split systems, rooftop units, and package units.proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hvac issues.strong understanding of hvac principles, components, and systems.ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.excellent communication and interpersonal skills.certification or relevant training in hvac maintenance and repair.willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.valid driver's license and clean driving record
