Spark developer - united states, corvallis

responsibilities:

kforce inc. is immediately adding 2 (two) full-time spark developers to our existing bi team in corvallis, oregon (or). the ideal candidate will be responsible for software development and automated solution test framework and test suite development on the print big data solution hosted in aws cloud. duties include: in this role, the spark developer utilizes solid (single responsibility, open-closed, liskov substitution, interface segregation and dependency inversion) object oriented design patterns practices test-driven design, develops automated unit tests to support continuous integration contributes to scrum team ceremonies, processes and tools specific project details will be outlined during quarterly and sprint planning and utilize rally to prioritize product backlog, sprint backlog and release management designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of end-user applications software running on local, networked, and internet-based platforms the spark developer analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of print big data solution writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs, and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into solution architecture enhance monitoring and reporting software applications to include production, test and development environments work with development and operations team to make improvements in setup and maintenance of development and test environments as a spark developer, this role will contribute to improvements in installation and deployment tools, and processes

requirements:
