Trainee food and beverage supervisor - united kingdom, bathurst

The lansdown club is one of the leading tennis, squash and croquet clubs in bath, offering some of the best facilities and playing opportunities in the south west – within a friendly and welcoming club environment. we are seeking a food and beverage trainee supervisor to join our dedicated, friendly team and be at the heart of the action – greeting, serving and looking after our members. full training will be provided, experience is not key. what we are looking for is someone who is passionate about food and customer service, likes to keep busy and is willing to learn. in time you will be responsible for playing a key role in supporting our bar manager in both the bar and kitchen. you will be required to support the kitchen by creating house specials, including ‘home baked’ goods. you will be expected to play a key role in supporting the bar team in the day-to-day operation, whilst helping to provide training and have the skills to motivate and encourage others. this also includes completing daily checks and cleaning schedules. you will be a keyholder and will be responsible for opening/closing the club. you will work an average of 35-40 hours per week ( 5 days over 7 ) on a rota to support business needs. working hours range from 08:30 to 23:00. these will include day, evening and weekend shifts. the ideal candidate will have: a passion for food and creating culinary delights a passion for brilliant customer service great communication and organisational skills ability to work well in a team and show potential to grow into a team leader. ability to multitask and adapt to deal with day to day issues basic numeracy and cash handling skills it literacy skills are a bonus! so are you ready to join our amazing team? apply now!
