Family description and location our client is looking for a part time housekeeper. you would be working for a professional businessperson with 2 grown up children. it is a large 5 bedroom country farmhouse near hassocks in west sussex with considerable grounds (which the gardeners maintain). job description this will be a varied role to include all general housekeeping such as laundry, cleaning and making sure the house is well presented. you will also need to be happy to walk the dogs (2 x jack russel's) and feed the animals (there are sheep and chickens). you will also be in charge of house maintenance and arranging for carpet / curtain cleaning / chimney sweeps / marble cleaning / chandelier cleaning etc. liaising with the executive assistant, the gardeners and arranging for the cars to be valeted and maintained, arrange the shopping and keep stocks in. some driving - dropping off and picking up from the station required. candidate requirements it is essential that you have at least 3 years’ experience working as a housekeeper with suitable references. they are looking for someone who is completely trustworthy and organised - with a cheerful personality. you must speak excellent english, and be a driver with your own car days of work and salary this is a part time role of 24 hours a week with weekends free and four weeks paid holiday pa. 4 days a week 10am until 4pm or. salary is £15 per hour net. working hours 6 hours a day such as 9am - 3pm, 10am - 4pm or 11am - 5pm.
