our client is a medium sized cpa firm that has a strong mission to impact the quality of clients, associates and their families in a positive way the firm's core values include honesty, integrity, improving lives, creativity, respect, and continuous improvement they are looking to add a manager of assurance services - with several of the leaders within accounting and finance out of big 4 or large regional firms they also will offer flexibility with work hours, even offering opportunity to work hybrid - very flexible with working from home. 60-65 hours per week - 2,350 hours per year expectation client are small and medium sized business across a variety of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, agriculture the company will support you as you pursue the cpa designation they also offer a clear path for your career trajectory and leadership team is invested in your career growth locations across wi. they also have subsidiary companies (payroll, property maintenance).

overview of the tax manager role:

valuation of inventory and fix asset justifications tax preparation, budgeting and forecasting, reconciliations performing the reporting client data and of financial reports, prepare for client reviews balance sheet accounts reviews and analysis and standards development month end, account period closings reviews and analysis

preferred qualifications for the tax manager:

bachelors in accounting prior experience at a senior level in public accounting ability to travel to clients that are in the area
