Dispatcher - united states, irvine

we are working with a client in the savannah area and they are looking for a dispatcher to fill an immediate need.  this role is a temporary opportunity right now and it may turn into something more long term based upon business needs along with the employee’s performance and attendance. the dispatcher does work in office monday through friday during normal business hours.

essential duties and responsibilities:

responsibilities:
- communicating with customers and operations staff on a daily basis.
- receiving calls and/or emails from customers requesting service and dispatching technicians to the appropriate locations.
- ensuring to gather all of the details from the customer on their issues so that the technicians have as much information as possible before arriving at the site
- tracking customer requests and technician dispatches through their online system as well as microsoft excel
- updating operations and brach management on service request issues and statuses 
- receiving part orders at the office and notifying the technicians in the field
- keeping track of the technician schedules and locations
- other office duties as assigned

targeted candidate profile:

a high school diploma or equivalent is required (associate degree preferred) requires at least 3 years relevant work experience requires excellent computer skills, with focus on ms word and excel experience with oracle (or similar large erp system) is a plus high level attention to detail high level of communication and ability to prioritize/schedule accordingly dispatching experience is needed for this role reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
