about the opportunity:

- our client located in bourne, ma is a joint commission-certified and psychiatric facility. they are currently looking for a reliable mental health worker to be part of their growing team.

- they provide comprehensive services to adults and children

- you will provide assistance, instruction, and supervision in activities of daily living to include hygiene, care of living area, care of personal belongings

mental health worker responsibilities:

- provides direct care services daily to include but not limited to taking vital signs, monitoring intake and output as well as assisting clients with feeding and personal hygiene

- ensures the spiritual needs of clients are met by coordinating with senior staff and/or charge nurse

- assist in problem identification, planning, and teaching by reporting pertinent observations to the charge person

- serves as a client advocate, ensures that confidentiality and human rights are maintained

mental health worker qualifications:

- 1+ years of related experience

- mental health or psychiatric experience is required

- compassionate toward patients and with excellent interpersonal skills
