Video game qa - united states, concordia research station

We have a career opportunity available as a gaming qa with a video game developer in the triangle area. this company is one of the largest video game developers in the world, right behind companies such as microsoft, nintendo, ea, activision, etc. this is a great opportunity for someone just starting their career that is hoping to gain industry experience.  

this position will start out on an open-ended contract basis and there could be potential for long-term employment. the schedule is full-time monday – friday during normal business hours but you must be flexible for overtime when “crunching”.  
  
responsibilities: 
• use in-house bug reporting to document bugs according to design document/test case o ability to write reproduction steps in bug report 
• work with developers/graphics teams to ensure a quality product 
• verify bugs have been fixed and are working properly with new build releases  
  
requirements: 
• must have a passion for gaming 
• must be able to maintain confidentiality 
• prior experience in game qa a plus, but not necessary 
• familiarity with different gaming platforms 
• knowledge of different testing methods; regression, automated, functional 
• excellent communication skills both verbal and written 
• skilled at troubleshooting
