Drivers required for local courier work - not multidrop - united kingdom, hassocks
Brighton couriers are looking for a local delivery driver to join our busy team. due to an increase in work and new contracts we are looking for drivers to cover local jobs & contract work. your duties will include collecting & delivering jobs mainly in the sussex & surrey area & occasional jobs to london, luton, southend, bournemouth and surrounding areas depending on customer requirements. we offer services to the nhs, solicitors, tv companies, promotional companies, letting agents, labeling companies, building companies, electrical companies & even local celebrities so there is a good mix of work. during quieter periods other duties will include maintaining a fleet of vehicles & various office based jobs. you must be smart, hardworking & professional at all times. you will need to speak good english, be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, follow instructions, have a good attention to detail & be able to complete customer/office paperwork. you will be given a company vehicle to use (various from small to large vans), uniform & any ppe required. working hours will be 09.00-18.00 (mon-fri) but may change occasionally depending on customer requirements so you will need to be slightly flexible with your times. overtime & holiday pay/pension available. you must be over 25 years old, hold a full uk driving license with no more than 6 points, hold a uk/eu passport & be eligible to live & work in the uk. you will need your own vehicle in order to travel to our office in albourne, west sussex bn6 9jj experience drivers preferred but not essential as full training will be given. immediate start for the right candidates. salary £1500 per month (take home after tax) if you have what it takes to be part of this small friendly team then please call (mon-fri 09.00-16.00) or email your cv, we would love to hear from you.
