as the lead retail associate, you will be responsible for assisting the supervisor and manager in day-to-day operations, as well as selling, restocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store.



what will i be doing?

opens and closes the store at the designated floor hours and follow daily instructions for all special deliveries of beverage and/or food. provide and/or assists guests with location, price, use, and care of merchandise. maintain knowledge of merchandise, current sales and promotions, policy and procedures regarding payments, returns, and security practices. check-in merchandise accurately, log all received merchandise and notate any quantity and cost discrepancies. price, restock, and rotate merchandise; keep all items pulled forward with labels facing out (coolers and shelves), monitor item expiration dates and pull when needed. update and arrange sales display areas to promote sales. maintain and clean store and coffee bar daily monthly physical inventory count of merchandise every last day of the month. inventory may be done during floor hours and/or after regular hours. meet revenue goals and maintain record of sales. answer phone calls and assist guest needs; place special orders over the phone. count and verify bank money and daily cash change and cash drops in safe at the end of each shift. process and complete cash balance, reconcile charge ships, vouchers, processing payments of various kinds, and reports. responsible for sales department deliveries and drink stockroom maintenance drink count sheets daily. assist management in merchandise orders, returns/credits and invoice totals, special projects, and inventory control train team members on quality audit guidelines (following qa standards).

high school diploma or equivalent a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the retail/cash handling field required. valid alcohol awareness training certification must be of legal age to serve and serve alcohol and tobacco products proficient english language interpersonal skills to communicate both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers computer proficiency in microsoft word, excel and outlook strong analytical and problem solving skills
