experienced import / export agent needed for immediate, full time opportunity.

job responsibilities:
●assist in preparation and distribution of import documents including customs clearance, isf's, shipping, labeling, and distribution of cargo

●generate delivery orders, coordinate delivery and pick-up orders

●track and follow-up on shipments

●issue freight billing and invoices to brokers

●meet and exceed deadlines

●complete weekly and monthly reports

qualifications:

●experience in the import/export or international shipping industry

●excellent time management and organizational skills

●excellent follow through and problem solving skills

●ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload, and meet deadlines

●strong data entry, computer and communication skills

●self-motivated, able to work independently

●hs diploma or ged
