Driver labourer for construction company - united kingdom, musselburgh

We are currently looking to employ a driver/ labourer to be based from our workshop in musselburgh. works will involve, but will not be restricted to: - workshop keep workshop clean and organised, emptying bins and industrial extractor bags keep yard organised, inc containers, informing buyer when skips need changed. check all plant that come back from site noting all is safe. if not, then repair or send for repair. keep hmr vehicles clean and checked regularly for fuel/washer fluid/oil stock taking the stores, noting any stock that is running low to the buyer for reordering. keeping store tidy and in order general house keeping of property including keeping maintenance records up to date site duties deliver and collect materials/plant from/to site and merchants, keeping note of materials and deliveries for recording purposes. clearing sites of rubbish and debris and loading into skips as required. general labouring duties to tradesmen on site if required tidying of sites and adjacent areas as required qualifications and experience clean and full driving license is essential experience of driving in edinburgh and the lothians forklift ticket would be an advantage well mannered experience of working on construction sites rate of pay: - to be discussed specific training will be given to the candidate most suited to the role, to allow him to fully develop within the business job types: full-time, permanent salary: £7.00-£11.00 per hour schedule: holidays monday to friday experience: light commercial vehicle & delivery drivers: 1 year (preferred) delivery driver: 1 year (preferred) driving: 1 year (preferred) licence/certification: driving license (required) work remotely: no no agencys
