A friendly couple, with two girls aged four and eight, are looking for a new long-term live-in housekeeper for their family home in burnett, near bath. you must have a full driving licence for this role. package offered salary of £40,000 - £55,000 gross per year depending on experience working monday – friday, 45 hours per week separate annex with your own private bedroom and bathroom an automatic car will be provided for work use you can also live out at the weekend (live in during the week) if you live locally family background a busy family with two girls aged four and eight. they currently have a live-out housekeeper but are now looking for a long-term live-in housekeeper who can become part of the family. the family have a dog so you must be dog friendly. this role involves little childcare, but you should be child-friendly and like to be around children. mum does most of the childcare and cooking so your role will be focused on housekeeping. they are moving to a lovely 7-bedroom house in bristol where there is already a gardener so you will not need to look after the garden. the family normally travel to spain in the school holidays but you will not be required to travel with them. duties all housekeeping duties, keeping the beautiful property in a lovely and clean state. an eye for detail and willingness to get fully involved in family life. you should be happy to launder, iron and clean the property, and be willing to tidy up as you go – around the children. you should be organised, happy to help with food shopping and light cooking, and also run errands if required. you should be happy to lend a hand with the children and be helpful wherever needed. you should be warm and easy-going as the family are friendly and down to earth. you will cook for the family regularly so you must be happy to cook and follow recipes. the have two gardeners and a vegetable garden so you will have fresh veg to cook. you may also be asked to babysit occasionally. the family like to keep their house to very high standards so you should have a keen eye for detail and be proactive in your approach to work. you should be able to work independently and have your own initiative. location/accommodation the new family home is in burnett, near bath. you will have your own annexe with a private bathroom and bedroom. the family are also happy to consider flexi-live in during the week and live out during the weekends. days/hours working monday to friday, 9am – 6pm 45 hours per week occasional weekends and babysitting as agreed in advance with the family - you will be paid overtime or have time off in lieu languages you should speak a good level of english and tagalog for this role. special skills driving is essential for this role. you should have high attention to detail and be able to work well on your own initiative. you should be proactive and be an experienced housekeeper in private properties. interview/start date the family is interviewing now for asap start. the family will be respecting the government guidelines on covid-19 to safely recruit.
