Dsa is looking for a configuration management specialist to work onsite at fort hood tx.
-configuration management (cm) specialist is responsible for providing configuration management of c4isr systems software in support of the central technical support facility (ctsf) located at fort hood tx.
- responsible for the management of the warfighter mission area configuration items in support of army interoperability certification testing and army software army configuration management office (acmo) management requirements for the army interoperable certified fielded baseline.

-perform the responsibilities of, and act as the army configuration management office supporting hqda cio/g-6 policies and
oversight.

-provide baseline management for hqda g-3/5/7 landwarnet (lwn) mission command (mc) directorate on version of (lwn mc) software baselines.

-assist the army with supporting version control responsibilities of joint and coalition systems software.

-update the army net-centric asset repository and ensure data, requirements and document management are authoritative, control and managed.
-provide hqda cio/g-6 cm training and oversight to federated net-centric sites (fans), and maintain its configuration management office as the hub for those sites.
-maintain records, provide traceability, and manage control of software distribution.
-maintain the configuration management tracking system (cmts) current with providing real-time accurate authoritative data.
-provide guidance and assistance to various other pm support organizations, and shall provide immediate system of system support to the customer.
-provide change controls to tradoc system of systems interoperability mission threads, to include maintenance and execution of the mission thread management process.

associates degree
5+ years' experience in configuration management
professional certification in the field of cm
