Acs international schools is recruiting a reward specialist to join the hr team with a remit to develop and deliver reward services and solutions to its 900 permanent employees across 4 sites in the uk and qatar. this is a broad role which offers variety and scope to reshape the reward strategy that aligns to acss strategic goals and newly developed people strategy.the reward specialist will be a key contributor to an ambitious, evolving international charitable education group and will have responsibility for shaping and delivering the total reward proposition for employeeskey duties:partner with the hr director and senior management to develop and execute a reward strategy which supports the organisations people strategy.in conjunction with key stakeholders, develop, capture and communicate the acs group reward policy.build and embed reward scales and structures across the organisation.support hr partners/advisors and the recruitment team with job evaluations and salary benchmarking information, maintaining our grading structures and evaluation frameworksmanagement and administration of the annual pay review cycle - planning and governance of the end-to-end process, including: data cleansing;validation and reconciliation;data analysis;drafting communication material and preparing template letters.management and administration of the uk and qatar employee benefit plans and third-party benefit suppliers;develop a range of benefits policies and arrangements that enhance the groups external market competitiveness.deliver gender and ethnicity pay gap reporting, monitor compliance with london living wage.keep abreast of all external affairs which could have an impact on reward at acs, including market surveys and data, fiscal or legal changes and competitor movements.provide reward based intelligence to the hr and wider leadership team. participate in salary surveys.ensure the clear, consistent, and effective communication of reward programmes both internally and externally. whilst you need to be technically savvy in the reward space you will ensure that you can take the complex and make it simple for colleagues, through great written and verbal communications which are clear, consistent and aligned with acss values.contribute to the effective operation of the groups international assignment and employee relocation policy.skills and experience required:reward professional with demonstrable experience of all key elements of compensation and benefits gained in professional, multi-site and ideally international organisations.data rational with the ability to analyse, systemise and operate successfully in an environment which is still developing its processes and technical infrastructure.understands emerging reward and workforce trends and uses this to inform insights and recommendations adept at drawing insights and making credible recommendations based on various data sources.commercial acumen with a clear understanding of the correlation between the commerciality of the organisation and the reward of its employeesannual pay review process and market pay benchmarking/job levelling experienceproven project management and organisational skills with an eye for detail and an ability to see things through.excellent analytical, numerical and verbal reasoning skills, coupled with strong environmental scanning ability and conceptual dexterity.experience working with hr database systems, querying data and producing reports. excellent knowledge and experience of using excel at advanced level.clear oral and written communicator with the ability to work effectively and establish credibility with diverse internal and external stakeholders.bright, open, confident, resourceful and highly professionalacs is committed to inclusion across race, gender, faith, identity and abilities. we believe that diversity helps us to fulfil our purpose, realise our vision and exemplify our values.acs is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and, as an employee of acs, you are expected to share this commitment. this position is therefore subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.
