a regional leading acute care hospital located on the cape of massachusetts is currently searching for an experienced nurse educator emergency services to join their award-winning healthcare team.
this state-of-the-art medical facility is home to just under 300-beds and is fully accredited by the joint commission, college of american pathologist, and the american association of blood banks. the nurse educator emergency services will join a regional leading system that provides a variety of services including cardiovascular, perioperative, oncology, women’s health, neurological, and imaging among much more.
under direction of the executive director of patient care, the nurse educator of emergency services will help lead the emergency care nursing staff, asses unit needs, provide staff evaluations and ongoing input, and promote the ongoing professional development of the emergency staff. the nurse educator will also act as the nursing supervisor within the emergency department and will assist the unit manager in all administrative and clinical operations. this is a full-time flexible scheduled position with the options of 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts based on operational needs.
requirements include:
bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing programcurrent rn licensure in the commonwealth of massachusettsminimum 3-5 years of related nursing experiencetncc, enpc, or pals certification preferredthis facility is located in the beautiful cape region of massachusetts, an area where many young professionals and families reside. this city on the water is known to provide a sparse suburban feel where you can find many restaurants, parks, and local shops.
