Pastry chef - saudi arabia, khobar
Responsibilities:
• ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte.
• keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions.
• responsible for all culinary dishes that are prepared in the section.
• cooks all food to proper specifications in a timely manner.
• develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends.
• keeps workstation and equipment clean.
• ordering new supplies, ingredients, and equipment for the pastry section, when needed, and within budget.
• decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation.
• being responsible for food hygiene practices.
• keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary.
• following directions provided by the sous chef.
qualifications:
• diploma or higher in hospitality/culinary arts is preferred.
• proficient in english.
• should have at least 1 year experience .
• ability to work under pressure.
• high level of attention to detail.
• ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team.
• able to handle multiple tasks.
• great interpersonal and communication skills.
• time-management.
