Eh54- business development manager location: skelmersdale salary: gbp30k per annum (+ car/ car allowance) overview: our client is looking for a business development manager in the skelmersdale area. they are a construction company that are looking to expand their business team. the role comes with either a company car or a car allowance of gbp300 per month. duties and responsibilities: identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and servicesdeveloping and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the company's customer base and solidify its presencecreating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching themachieving growth and hitting sales targetsbuilding and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations by partnering with themdeveloping and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographicscollaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that the requirements are metcreating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunitiesbuilding relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needsmaintaining and developing relationships with current clientsproviding daily reports of field sales successestablishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accountspitching sales and products to new and existing clientsattending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trendspossessing a strong understanding of the company's products, the competition in the industry and positioning skills and qualifications: knowledge of building and construction including basic engineering methods and principlesthe ability to sell ideas, products and servicesexcellent time management skills and the ability to multitaskability to communicate, inspire and motivateproven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closeexcellent mentoring, coaching and good people management skillsa strategic and creative mindstrong leadership qualities to lead a teamexcellent customer service skillstechnical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client's requirementssolid it skills and knowledge of necessary software applications including microsoft word, excel, powerpoint and other statistical analysis software.ability to identify, recruit and hire talented sales repsthe ability to motivate themselves and othersa solid understanding of business and marketing principles location: skelmersdale salary: gbp30k per annum (+ car/ car allowance)
